Der Duftexperte Paul Divjak energetisiert das rienna #2 mit einer Point-of-Sale-Duftinstallation seiner Komposition „Soul Splash”, liest vitalisiert aus seinem Buch „Der Geruch der Welt“ (Edition Atelier) und analysiert mit dem Apotheker Alexander Ehrmann deinen ganz persönlichen Geruchstyp. (Persönliche Körpergeruchszertifikate werden ausgestellt.)

Da es sich bei der performativen Geruchsbildbestimmung des von Dr. Divjak und Mag. Ehrmann gegründeten IFeO (Institut für Experimentelle Olfaktorik) um einen sensiblen und sehr intimen Prozess handelt, wird darauf hingewiesen, dass für die Teilnahme an der Analyse die Unterzeichnung d/einer persönlichen Einverständniserklärung erforderlich ist.

Scent design for the traditional Christmas Market at Schloß Schönbrunn, Vienna – Winter 2013. [Client: MTS Marketing Tourismus Synergie Wien GmbH]

In cooperation with Elke Kies from MagicBox we composed subtile resinous fir tree notes and exclusive orange and herbal blends. And provided the client with three custom-built scent beaming units in order to create extraordinary olfactory experiences for the visitors of the market.
Imagine: a romantic winter night, a slight breeze, and a smelly smell. All organic. – Just a senusal surplus. No manipulation intended.

Der Pratersauna Art Space präsentiert sich, wie der Künstler Milan Mladenovic ihn gestaltet hat; in wochenlanger Arbeit wurden alle Wände, die Decke und das Interieur kleinteilig mit bunten Stickern verklebt. Psychedelische Muster, wohin das Auge blickt. Paul Divjak hat auf Einladung der Wiener Achse die Intervention von Mladenovic aufgegriffen und die Ästhetik der veränderten Raumerfahrung auf olfaktorischer Ebene weitergedacht. Der Ort scheint gänzlich unverändert, wäre da nicht eine überraschende zusätzliche Stimulanz. Statt der typischen von Alkohol, Rauch und Schweiß getränkten Luft eines Clubs prägt das poppige Aroma fruchtiger Erdbeeren die Atmosphäre. – Bevor die Partynacht überhaupt angefangen hat, fährt der beglückende synthetische Trip auch schon ein. Ohne Drogen, völlig losgelöst; Eskapismus im Erdbeerland.

With his smellscape Paul Divjak is stepping into an olfactory dialogue with the current exhibition at the Jewish Museum: „A Streetcar Named Desired“, which takes the visitors on a reflective journey through Jerusalem by following the route of tram number 1, crossing and connecting the various „Jerusalems“.
In „L´année dernière à Jersualem“ the artist is describing a stroll through the city of Jerusalem. Subjective memories concerning the sense of smell enfold a assiciative and symbolic bouquet of the Holy city, center of three religions. Such evoking the aura of the very place of different cultures.

The idea was to develop an advanced room diffusing edition of my fragrance EAU MAJESTY (Saint Charles, Vienna) for the Neue Galerie, New York.

During the exhibition FRANZ XAVER MESSERSCHMIDT 1736-1783: FROM NEOCLASSICISM TO EXPRESSIONISM the whole museum was supposed to be smelling like a blossoming Royal Orangerie …
