Paul Divjak und Wolfgang Schlögl haben unter dem Namen “Team Tool Time” die europäische Honigbiene – Apis mellifera – erforscht, die Arbeitsabläufe der Imker, wie auch den gesamten Lebenszyklus der Arbeitsbienen begleitet – und sind in die Klangwelt eines Bienenstocks eingetaucht. Das Summen, Brummen und Werken – direkt in den Bienenstöcken wurde aufgenommen und im Studio mit digitaler Feinelektronik zu einem faszinierenden Bienen-Soundtrack weiterverarbeitet.

Paul Divjak and Wolfgang Schlögl are “TEAM TOOL TIME”. This summer they dedicated their work to the Apis Mellifera – the european honey bee, by recording the whole sound spectrum of the life of the bees, as well as the work of the bee keepers …

Divjak @KonkordIt’s simply unbelievable, that already 20 years passed since my first release “so fine” (7″) on sue.mi (Berlin/Prague). In the very same year, 2002, Hans Platzgumer, with whom I had the chance to collaborate on my first EP, mentioned Konkord Records, a young team of audiophile enthusiast from Vienna. I got in contact with Wolfgang Reitter and the boys (back then they really were young) from “the friendly record label” from Vienna, and learnt to appreciate their vast pop historical knowledge and musical expertise. To cut a long story short: We released the EP “A Glimmer of Hope” together in 2005. And ever since Konkord turned out to be the very trusted homebase for my musical concepts and releases. – I’m already pretty much looking forward to celebrating a “Best Of” at the occasion of our 20-years anniversary. Here’s to you, Konkorditos!***

Bee-Pop-A-Lula, you’re my honey! Zwei Dirigenten und gut 100.000 Musiker – solch ein großes Orchester gab es wohl noch nie zuvor in der Geschichte des Field Recording. Die beiden Künstler Paul Divjak und Wolfgang Schlögl (aka I-Wolf) bilden zusammen das Team Tool Time, verpflichtet der angewandten Klangforschung an der Schnittstelle zwischen Alltag und Kunst. Für das erste Album des Teams wurde im Sommer 2012 der Lebensraum der Apis mellifera, also der westlichen Honigbiene besucht.
