[E] just an image. paul divjak [1995| 16mm/Beta SP | B/W | 4 min] Just an Image starts out with satisfying the set expectations fo an audience for whom the illustration of consumer goods has become equivalent with the consumption of images. The constant repetition of one and the same spot however, evokes a sensibility to the interchangeability of the [advertising] image´s esthetics. Here the meaning of the advertising is drained from the image, which are released together with the mediated message of the commerical, in order to recapture their own meaning.
